just started sleeting in Essex, after a sunny morning ;-)

Lovely sunny day today, shame about the temperature.

Its the wind chill factor thats the problem here. I think my thermals are in need of thermals :-S

Keeps snowing on and off here where I am in essex but its sooo cold. I went to bed last night and thought it was spring. I must have slept through summer and autumn because when I awoke this morning it was winter again. :-( :-( :-(

It's trying to snow here in North Wales , we had a very small flurry
about an hour ago but stopped , it is bitterly cold , the wind cuts right through you :-(

WE have hd enough up North so we thought it was about time the Sootherners got some as well - we share you know

Had a light covering yesterday afternoon and again during the evening.

Been trying today but not come to anything yet

Yes Carol,the flakes at this moment in time are getting larger,went to Hastings this morning and it was quite clear on the main roads and the snow was blowing in from the Channel almost blizzard like but very fine.Keep warm.**M**.

Merlin it has not stopped all morning here, but you nearer the sea seem to have had more than us, 8 miles inland, overnight.

Woke up to about 2inches this morning,its still snowing here in East Sussex,I,m about 5mins from the coast .its about 4inches now,however the main roads are clear but side roads a bit dodgy.**M** :-(

Went from Chelmsford and back this morning.
There was a little laying in places and a few heavy flurries but no real problems apart from the inside of the car windows steaming up.
Nothing laying on roads or pavements at the moment but the occasional flake wafting past.

Same here near Channel coast Ken.

It might be quite different over the hill though, as that and the sea air often protect us from the worst of it. Only a couple of miles away at a higher level, it is likely to be thick on the ground.

Well it is certainly snowing hard in Chelmsford this morning. The amazing thing is that, in spite of it being almost blizzard like, it has only left a fine layer on the ground and the road ouside is still clear.

When i woke this morning it was raining
and then the snow came , but lucky enough it wasn't much, phewww
But the wind is bitterly cold OH took the dog out for her walk and came back frozen

Woke up to snow here (West Lothian) and had snow flurries all day so far, with sunshine in between, when it comes down it's heavy, forecast is for more overnight with temps down to -4.

Family drove from there to London this morning to surprise me and said it wasn't that bad.

Grandson also played his usual football match in Chelmsford area, which went ahead despite the freezing weather.

So maybe, unfortunately, it all landed where you live :-D

Well dont even think of sending it to Kent.I have enough problems getting the car back in garage in reverse without snow and ice!

It wasnt enough to stop the under 15s footy match in being played away in Colchester though :-|

Its still hanging around here hopefully not waiting for some more.
