I asked for information, on another genealogy site re an ancestor, today I received a reply to the request. Although it turns out there is no connection, it shows that even though you may think nobody has seen your message, never give up :-D

I have a list like that. :-(

My Godden line gets lost in the 1790's.
I know they were here in England, Lords of the Manor in Kent, before the Conquest in 1066.
I find it interesting that nowadays they seem to be known more as Gypsies than Lords. :-D
