Just watched it, very good....It also featured where I live, so was nice to hear a bit of history about this area

On this episode JM's acerbic wit was in overdrive. They should let him out of his cage more often.

My post is not about footballers, mostly.

At the beginning of the program J.M. recites a list of places which are victims of "placism" and especially Essex. At the end of his list of the usual victims he adds "and I forgot the Welsh". The program is about Essex where both Jax and myself were made :-)

Later in the program he again mentions the unemployed Welshmen who came to farm small holdings in Essex between the wars.

So far the closest he has got to Wales is Birmingham...

Not everybody cares for J.M. 's off the wall style. I am a great fan, he has quite a few programs on YT. I only wish iPlayer would leave stuff like this up and in HD.

My first mother-in-law came from the valleys but I do not hold that against my cat who is from Risca.
