Nope, Scozz, that's just what they looked like. Corrugated Iron, very small stuctures.

As for the answer to your questions, probably soundproofed but not air conditioned.

They make them tough in Kal, besides the heat doesn't encourage one to linger, as it were. ;-) :-D :-D
