Can't think of a positive slant.

I think it is the saddest thing. Met a lovely lady yesterday. Looked fairly young, but told me she had been married 61 years, she was 80 and husband 86. He had been sent to a home pro tem to give her respite and she still loved him so much and had no idea how she would cope once inevitable happens :-(
