Ours last bought Dec 2009, so should be OK.

I am horrified that I have been using mine for all this time when it is a potential risk. Although I never set it to run and then go out or to bed.

The list of models is huge, it took us ages to find ours.

Apparently it is only the 1999-2005 model.

I guess that most dishwashers that old and still around have an ez life.

As it happens we had a 2004 model which was fine until a year ago - no unexpected conflagrations, no recall notice either. It stopped heating the water one day so I replaced it ... with another Bosch. I like them, fairly quick and best of all quiet.

I can't think why we haven't seen the warning before now but apparently there are thousands who haven't. I believe the risk is low but it is still a risk. Not nice to think that we have been living with that risk for about 10 years. Do you know what part it is Joy? Does it take long?

the came a few months ago and changed a part in mine

Everyone seen the fir risk warning. Apparently they have been on recall for a while but we hadn't seen it. Ours is on the list so they are coming out 28 March.
Check yours on ITV.com/news you need the model number and they are not in any order on the list.
