Thanks PH

Sandie, I'm 65. The pension age is gradually creeping up. My oh may be able toclaim a part UK pension when she's 63.5, but can only claim the Oz pension once she turns 65

Thanks GP: your greetings are heartily reciprocated on behalf of myself and the GL of Western Australia

'Tis my birthday now Wend. In half an hour the UK will enter March 17th and you can all help me to celebrate :-D

As for the bush....We are less than five minures to the shopping centre, the same to the Doctors, we are on a bus route, and are only a six or seven minute walk to the Leschanault Estuary. I sure that Mickfromthe bush would take issue with you! :-D :-D

Suzzane, If I'm still around at 70 (given my family's unfortunate habit of shuffling of this mortal coil at an early age) I'll let you know :-D

Thanks all

It is now early morning here so I am officially 65.

To the Invisible man, I'm sorry but I couldn't see your post! :-D :-D. In the land of Oz there are many payments of benefits which attract the official name of 'pension', so the one for us Seniors is still officially called the Age Pension :-(

LWS, my wife is also a peskyun....sorry piscean, so if I ever need a dominant influence, I may have to hire one by the hour ;-) :-D

And also thanks to Annx and Tec.

Later today I will finally be opening a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, which I was going to open when I was 60. I know that on this day I should be drinking Irish Whiskey, but that would be so predictable :-D :-D
