Well done to you, sadly for people selling it is a buyers market at the moment. As you buyers have nothing to sell it should all go smoothly (hopefully) Think how pleased you will be with your self and your accomplishments in a few weeks time.

Thank you to all,
It´s going to a frightening few weeks to come now, but I am over the moon about it all.

Well done Uzzi, glad it is sold and you can move on to the next stage of things. It will be a weight off your mind even if you didn't get as much as you wanted, at least you won't have the worry of it and will save on insuring it too.

Best of luck, hon,

Pleased for you both re the time scale ,cos it is stressful if the property is not selling.

Dad's house(family home) was in a prime location with huge potential..large garden etc.
The 1st offer was really silly,so we put it up for auction and it didn't sell at reserve price.
So hubby decided to renovate it himself.
(Vested interest, as I would get half of sale price(sis and Iinherited it ) and hubby and I have a joint account).
Sis and I agreed on what we would accept as the house was valued each having 50 / 50, and if if was then sold for a higher figure, cos she wasn't able to help with renovationsbeing in US she would just take that figure.

Hubby made it his project and enjoyed it ,was a lot of hard work, always been into DIY, but this was rather more than that ! andhe learned a lot from it.
He made a good job of it,could have doubled the original price but the price market dropped....and it took a long time to sell.
Tho we did make money by him doing it up himself..................but

But it was stressful having on the market for so long ,so I'm pleased for you Uzzi that you have such a quick sale, and hopefully won't have any hassle.

After my Dad died in January, we put his retirement apartment up for sale. One week later, the house clearance people came to take things away, They finished at 10.45am, we had a viewing at 11.00am, and a firm offer at 12.00! The place looked a tip, so we were very lucky!

Hurray, I'm really pleased for you Uzzi, after all your hard work. Shame you didn't get the asking price, but Ann says it all. Get rid and hopefully now you can move on and make plans. I'm assuming you've accepted the offer?

Bird in the hand etc...... better to have it all sorted and over with than hang on and maybe have to drop it more. Also, the maintenance doesn't stop when it's empty and it would be on your mind till its sold. I would take it and hopefully soon be free of it!! :-) Good luck.
