I used to help with our Luncheon Club - I always drew the short straw - puddings! It was only about every 4-6 weeks.

Desperate one day I thought I would take them back down memory lane and made bread and butter pudding in two large 14" square dishes. Every bit went!

However I had a phone call the week before my next turn telling me I had to make bread & butter pudding. The helpers were fed up being asked when they were having it again.

I got fed up for months making it and changed to baked rice pudding. At least I had a choice then!

:-D :-D :-D :-D

I did a rice pudding last time I did it, and I made baked beans at home in the slow cooker.

I expected them to be left but not one came back.

I'm sure it will be great.

What's on the menu? Do you decide or are you given a plan?

Whoever cooks can do whatever they like.

W are doing them a school dinner this time. The pasties are already made and in the freezer, ready to be cooked on the dayI have bought pink blancmange and we will be doing some spuds and carrot and maybe even some tinned peas if I feel generous.

With the pink blancmange will be that chocolate cracknell with the puffedwheat in and maybe some frozen fruit mousse if I get it made.
