Hi ya Wend sweetie,
dont get sucked in to the this FB Paranoia, there`s far too much made of it .
There`s photos of my grandchildren on FB, and our family and friends pages are full of their children from babies to teens.
I couldn't care less what other people think about it. there`s far too many made up stories going round about "a friend told me" or "I heard" or "did you know".

You do what YOU feel comfortable with sweetie, and dont let spurious rumours ruin having a good time with friends and family.

Wend, I've been wanting to ask for some time why some are against putting photos of children on FB and blogs but didn't want to upset anyone.
I don't see what the problem is.
Unless of course there are jealous exes to avoid.

I think FB is Super Duper ... I`ve been chatting nearly every night for over 2 months to a super lady. She hasn't a clue who or where I am and we are chatting like a pair of lovestruck teenagers. (nothing rude or norty mind) well maybe a little flirtatious at times but we get on really well, a quarter to two in the morning we finished chatting the other night..lol
Not bad for a couple of 72yr olds hey! ;-)

But has your mum put your photie on there T'bob?

My family and friends put pics of their little ones on FB and I love to see them so what's the problem?

I have a photo of Fred hard at work watering the garden.

Has she seen a picture of you Jimbob, or are you invisible to be on the safe side? :-D :-D :-D

Yes! there are undesirables on FB same as in the real world, such is life.

None of my friends were undesirables, l had quite a few photo on there but l found it boring....simples.

Oo no Jude, no one is saying anyone has undesirables on their friends list.

I was just asking why some people are against sharing photos of children on FB - I genuinely don't know why they see this as a problem.

I find FB is great for keeping up with family and friends in the UK. We can chat and share photos. It was good when my son was deployed overseas with the army - much easier than him lining up to make a two minute phone call.

It's not for everyone though.

Just to add to this..........pics are ok for friends only but it's best never to put addresses or towns or phone numbers on though.
