Well,he's home and he does not need to go back to the hospital about this eye so he must have survived my haphazard nursing care.

Sounds like you are having a frustrating day, Sharron. Re the carers, we used to get the same thing - their office never seemed to convey a change of arrangement.
Extra lavender needed, I think!

As I explained before, I went through all the rigmarol(?) of getting Fred off to the eye clinic.

The ambulance was late so I had to ring hospital transport, then the contractor who was taking him.

Then I had to ring the eye cinic to ake sure they knew he would be late and had not cancelled,with all the consequences that would entail.

Once he was off I did what I also do on Sausage Sandwich Day,bath,lavender oil,cup of tea.

Having a bit of a drift and in come the carers.When I rang to tell them that he would not be home the date had not been written down so somebody,quite randomly, decided it was Friday.

I might just as well have asked them to come on a day of their choosig at a time they liked the look of.
