Tom and Jerry (just got the pun after all these years!) both worked for JJM and Tom was an advertising guy. You saw him at a drawing board in his office in the very first episode.

First BC watch yer lip I know where you live ;-) Island and Emma I am deeply deeply disappointed in you too you should hang your heads in shame :-|

I personaly think the wome nwith all the children has some serious issues with outside world and was something of a control freak interesting to see how her children develop as they get older bit too cultish for me, children need to mix.

Gwynn I just knew you would understand Margo was fantastic always busy but did absoloutely nothing, I will always remember my pitty for her when Jerry made her cut back on her spending so she dropped her cleaning ladie to 5 days a week, :-D

But Margo was a role model she was always done up with a nice dress for when Jerry got home, not slopping about with her PJs and curlers in BC no Margo was done up to the nines as all women should be when their OH get home from work ;-)

Yes Emma, I rather thought that, myself. Very different to the other family that was featured.

Jerry Leadbetter rose to Senior Management at JJM through devious means,
and was after the Managing Directors Job.

I also watched that programme Julia and how organised was she.
I hope they do get the farm but I also felt by the way she was talking
that she would be happy if she and her family had nothing to do with
the outside world. Could be wrong but just the impression I got.

Just as a little aside, but on a similar topic. Did anyone else watch the mother that had 12 children, the other night.
She home educated them, ran an online business, and still had time to make her own bread and cheese, and had chickens. Their ideal as a family is, in a couple of years to move to a farm and be totally self-sufficient, and did not rule out having anymore children.
Lawdy, lawdy, I was worn out just watching everything she did.
