We did have a lovely time .

Am a bit concerned that the bruise is spreading now from my bum down to the back of my knee, phoned the dic to see if nurse could take a look at it and maybe it needs a supporting bandage, they don't dressings I was told.

Have been given the tel nos of the Wound Clinic that does dressings but they don't know if it covers my type of injury . Wouldn't you know the phones are out till 2.30

You must have felt very loved and cherished Shirley and I hope your o.h. enjoyed himself too. Your grandson and his wife obviously care about you and for you and have shown it in the most practical way. Do let them help out sometimes and don't be too independent, they will relish the chance to help you, and it will create more good memories for you all

Take care and let those muscles heal. Have you an Arnica, it's good for bruising.

Can I say what a lovely caring family you have Shirley and to travel so far to take you both out for the day was a real show of love.
Hope the bruises heal quickly and you're back to normal very soon :-)

How lovely of them Shirley, they obviously enjoy your company as well. Glad you enjoyed your meal, it gave you a good rest from cooking. But what a shame that you were suffering the effects of your fall. Hope the bruises ease soon.

Our grandson and his wife took us out to Lunch today for our mutual birthday Lunch.

Hubbys birthday was the 13th and mine was 22nd.

They live 30 plus miles away but got to ours at 9.15am to take grandad to church and then come back to us to see if he needed anything done. I did get grandson to look at my PC cos it was doing silly things which he sorted.

After picking OH up from Church and bringing him home and waiting whilst his meds were done theythen took us off to a Harvester for Lunch. Very nice and we had the youngest grt grandaugher Katie aged 4 with us . A lovely spirited girl who has loads to say in an intelligent way .

I had a fall on weds so have a poorly leg , pulled muscles in my right thigh but also have a ginormous black bruise on the inner thigh so sitting and the standing is very painful. Was told if you need help in the week with anything then just say which is very nice of them cos they live 30 plus miles away.

Did say NOPE if I cant drive so cant get out I will do online shopping

Been a very nice day though AND its so nice to know how much we both mean to the family
