Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 9 Apr 2013 05:02

So much going on in last night's episode, wonder who it was in the beach hut?

What's wrong with David Tennant's character that he keeps collapsing, have I missed something?

I really thought 'Susan' was going to shut Tom in the cupboard at first, but surprised she gave him the skateboard. And what was that about him hating Danny, no one seemed to take any notice of the outburst.

I think there are so many red herrings in this programme that it is impossible to know

But ther'e are several threads and I think that the end story will be an 'oh I didn't see that coming' one.

Tennants character has a long term illness and should be medically retired but this I think is his 'last' case and he want to redeem himself after the last child murder case. This is also one of those ongoing threads which will only be resolved at the end.

This programme is fantastic. I have not been gripped by a show (especially ITV) for a very long time.

I am a bit of a "Miss Marple" and am generally quite good working through the usual suspects, but I have changed my mind on this one. David Tennants character seems to be rather a dark person. The plot thickens!

Will Mellor who plays Steve the ' psychic', said in a interview on tv , that the whole cast did not know who was the murderer until the very end of the production. ..........

So they were very much in the dark playing their roles as we are watching the the story unfold........

I love this thread & the show

Didnt like the bit with the creepy bloke in the van stealing the dog & pointing a cross bow at it - totally unnecessary - poor dog shut in the van in the dark - must have be reaslly frightened.

I have really enjoyed it till now & feel we should all moan to the show about this as it wont do anything to increase the tension - just get us animal lovers very angry.

I still think its either this creepy bloke who seems very unhinged who did it as he had a thing about the newsgent as well, also the little lad Tom looks very guilty & i am sure his father (hubby of the copper) knows more about it too - creepy Pauline knows more than she is letting on too.

I have to admit i dont like David Tennants scottish accent (I do know its his own as I saw him on WDYTYA) & was very confused as only seen him in Dr Who before without it - It does tend to put me off watching the show - I have to keep turning the sound up to hear what he is saying.

I like the vicar & Will Melor - think they should both be in it more -

Morning Everybody
I agree with Amokavid in respect of David Tennant, and his accent.
I was bought up in Scotland from a very early age, when learning to speak, and quite honestly, I cannot, at times, tell a word he says.
Never had any problem with the Scots accent or the Irish, but he speaks as if he has badly fitting false teeth.
Otherwise, I am non the wiser as to 'who dunnit'. LOL

Forget David Tennant's accent.

I just wanna look into his eyes!

He has the same chocolately browness as Johnny Depp!

Line them up together, and just let me swoooooooooooon!

Tabitha Report 12 Apr 2013 13:28

Great idea Of course Dr Who did it

he could blane it on the illness - agreed thats why he didn't solve the last one

You should take a bet on that at William Hill - I am sure you will get good odds

I see there has been a lot of letters about the crossbow & the dog - glad others think like me too

Cant wait for Monday - more clues & red herrings

I'm now beginning to think that the lady detective [Olivia Coleman] might have dunnit.

Perhaps she was not too keen on the bad influence the dead boy was on her own son. Her son deleted a load of stuff from his phone and his computer....................

On the other hand.................................................
