I usually do a defrag & Cclean once a week, but I've been lazy recently.

And the lack of available brain cells (as I get older) doesn't help

Compatibility view shouldn't really make any difference to signing in - it just helps some websites display better.
However, if you ran CCleaner that would have deleted your cookies and that is where your problem is. The Genes website places a cookie on your computer so that it "remembers" your password so if you delete your cookies you will have to sign in again.

I answered my own question. :-D

When I finished typing the OP, I noticed I had no emoticons; so I clicked on Compatability.

X out of GR, tried to get back in...... success!

Yesterday I did a defrag & a Cclean...... that must have changed the compatability.

DUH!

I had an issues before it drove me nuts sometimes even going to next page it would ask to sign it turned out like Errol said it was cookies so I changed settings and it deleted cookies in settings on laptop and it resolved itself :-)

I don't sign out.
