I have met Carwyn when I hosted a conference for him and indeed he is very nice as a person (his PA at that time however was a complete loon).

I cannot comment on the other 3 as I have not met them. No doubt all four have skeletons in their closets the same as any other politician.

We hear more about the Westminster MPs simply because there are more of them. I'd still much rather have the Conservatives in power than the Labour lot. My memory is not that bad, I can still remember them throwing money we didn't have at any problem which was topical and seen as a political correction. I am not going to expand on that so please don't ask!

Not anything anti-English, I don't think. Just an observation that the leaders of all the main parties in Westminster (UK, not just England) seem deadly boring. Whereas I would go out for a drink and a laugh with all 4 leaders in Wales (Andrew RT, Carwyn, KIrsty and Leanne). Though would probably throw my glass of whatever over Kirsty ;-)

My personal opinion is that the majority of ALL politicians are duplicitous and fake...and on that note....

I'll leave it at that.

Cameron a decetful bully. Osborne his smarmy Bullingdon chum. Millibands duplicit and boring - an interesting Communist father who would disown them both as capitalist lackies. And Boris that strange foreign boy at school who goes home to Turkey for the holidays.

When they had a poll some years ago about "should we abolish the monarch? If so, who should be PM?" I was voted most popular. Well, I am 92 now and have resigned most of my charity roles - so am definitely available if you cannot find more normal and interesting people to be PM.

At least in Wales and Scotland we have some more normal people to vote for to be First Minister :-)

I would suggest Ed Milliband's brother David has a VERY big book on him lol.

I am known to be a cynic, so my take on the article in the link below, is that the Prime Minister did not know what to do with the Energy Minister John Hayes after he openly criticised government policy on wind farms. John Hayes is very popular with Tory Backbenchers, and as such could have caused the Prime Minister a lot of problems if he sacked him.

So how did the Prime Minister solve this dilemma, he moved John Hayes to a "non-job" where he keeps his ministerial salary and perks, and where the Prime Minister can keep an eye on him, nice one Mr Cameron ;-)

A mini-reshuffle designed to "bolster" Prime Minister David Cameron's links with backbenchers has been carried out.

Energy Minister John Hayes is to move to be a Cabinet Office minister, becoming the prime minister's parliamentary adviser with a remit to act as a link man with backbench MP's.

A No 10 source said Mr Hayes was "a popular figure with the parliamentary party... who gets on with" Mr Cameron.
