who still has fish on Good Friday

We have had fish Good Friday as long as I can remember. Usually salmon or trout or something like that but this year it is a nice piece of good old fashioned cod, probably grilled and served with some little new potatoes and some creamy parsley sauce.

I always make a fish pie from scratch on Good Friday, with cod, salmon, smoked haddock and prawns. Not for any religious reasons, we just like it! :-)

Just put some Cod under the grill, we have it on most Fridays for lunch with brown bread and butter.. yummy

We have fish every Friday as OH is Catholic and he wont eat meat on a Friday.
