Have I just read that right about not being pure evil??? :-S

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 3 Apr 2013 21:52

OK Rose.

But I would like to know who on this thread is privy to the information that will decide what sentences the three get.

Quite a few have given an opinion. Based on things like "he is pure evil". No human being is pure good, so I doubt anyone can be pure evil either.

I would like to give an opinion as well, but I keep being told I am not entitled to an opinion. I am unworthy of an opinion, apparently :-(

John the people on here are not just judging on appearance though as you did or on assumptions. There has been no mention in any report of the case of any 'medical condition' offered as defence, that would surely have been one of the main arguments for the defence if any POSSIBLE mental condition existed.

I think it is very tacky of you to try and score points on a thread like this. Yes we all make snap judgements and generalisations, but nearly everyone on this board has waited till the verdict was in on this case before making a PUBLIC judgement....whatever they/ I may have thought in private.

But I am not allowed to judge anyone or anything on Genes chat without knowing all the facts - and a few more besides. Yet some of you feel you can judge these people. What is sauce for the goose......

You obviously never saw Channel 5's Philpott housefire (the truth) or BBC1 Panorama

As RamblingRose said the jury had the facts and found them guilty, before you comment further i suggest you watch at least one of the programmes on catchup tv

at least nobody saw my post and reported it before I deleted

John you really have overstepped in this instance -

JustJohn Report 3 Apr 2013 21:29

Hayley. Not at all bothered about reports and bans etc.

But I have been bothered all day by the dual standards on these threads. People are being judged all the time. Nobody really knows many details apart from what we see in paper/ This thread and the other one about Operation ********, Operation ****** and Operation ******** (child abiuse investigations) attract very judgmental posts.

Yet I make a simple comment about the fact that I have seen someone drive aggressively past pedestrians in a supermarket car park (speed limit 5mph, actual speed about 30mph, park in a disabled bay and waddle quickly into the store. And I am told that I should consider a long long list of possible disabilities before I suggest he was rude and able bodied.

As I live only about one and a half miles from where the Philpotts used to live I have heard and seen an awful lot about them over the years. My concern is that the sentence will be far too short. The judge should consider what term she is going to give and then multiply it by 6. None of this concurrent sentencing either. They should never be released.

think on this o holy one

Jesus said:

Mark 10:14 Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God.15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Mt 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Mt 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Mt 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

it's time you realised John that you are not fit for purpose in a chat room - has it not dawned on you yet that fellow members do not like you one little bit - if there is anyone who does, perhaps they would like to say why

I havent reported your post John I went too but someone beat me too it, you are well and truely skating on thin ice with the admin at GR if you think its acceptable to take the p*** and wum over the deaths of 6 young innocent children

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 3 Apr 2013 21:19

I saw them on Jeremy Kyle originally and also there were several newspaper articles about how much they were taking off the state in welfare benefits. I formed the opinion instantly that he had no morals at all and that she was very silly, very supportive of her husband and very manipulated. I can assure people the Philpotts are not an isolated case and children are being damaged every day by calculating and evil parents like them. Socila services need to wake up and smell the coffee for the £30k we pay each of them. And much more for managers..

But I am not allowed to judge anyone or anything on Genes chat without knowing all the facts - and a few more besides. Yet some of you feel you can judge these people. What is sauce for the goose......

"Some of you not quite as open minded and impartial as you thought."

Being "open minded and impartial" was the role of the jury John...the guilty verdict is in based on the evidence. Therefore none of us HAS have to be open minded and impartial.

don't you just love the ability and facility to edit?

Rambling

Rambling Report 3 Apr 2013 21:09

Have you actually watched them John?

Whilst I would be the last person to say that one can always know whether it is nature/nurture/ or mental illness that causes someone to commit a crime . I can confidently say that of those conditions that you listed the only one that is a vague possibility for explaining their actions in any way is

"Personality disorders"

But I don't think there are any grounds for assuming that is the case! they are both able to fluently explain their situation in front of cameras ( and friends) their choice of life style, why it worked for them, why they didn't give a ...damn...about what other people thought etc etc.

NO woman who performs a sex act on the co-conspirator who has just slaughtered her 'babies' , in the same room as the man who has just slaughtered her babies, deserves one ounce of concern or sympathy...not even from THIS bleeding heart liberal. And as for him.... words fail me..

Have removed asthma as one of the things for the courts to consider before sentencing in this case.

No, I am told we should consider this list before we judge anyone. So it seems only fair that I remind you before you sit under the Bastille talking about pure evil.

Now before a nice orderly queue appears to lynch John lets remember that John is a christain and as a christian he will be able to forgive them and good on him if he can. I can not find in my heart to do so, I think about a dying lad in a hosptial bed and his Mothers only interest is ordering chinese take away.

You left stupid and control freak off your list John please do not turn this thread in another about you !
