There's an old saying Ne'er cast a clout till May be out! I dress for comfort myself but most of those women/girls were dressed for effect.

For the record it's warm and sunny here atm, with no wind. When I walked the dog I had to open my coat because I was too warm.

Not sure they would be frozen. Those Northern lasses are tough. I went out with just a blouse yesterday (a bit see thru too) but that's because of my age thing.. They did look as if they were having a laugh though. A few bevvies and they wouldn't feel the cold.

Well two contrasts in the DMail yesterday some of the Ladies at Aintree, half naked and frozen (they will have pneumonia next week) and the Duchess of Cambridge.

A smart coat and hat, knee high boots and she looked lovely and was probably warm and cosy.
