Well now you mention it Elaine lol......

I have had a lot going on lately so maybe I had forgotten -as long as you think I responded, it's ok, didn't want you to think I had ignored the sad news.

Wishing your gt.granddaughter and family a lot of happiness in their refurbished home, Elaine, and a wonderful wedding and honeymoon too. Sad to lose such a special gift as the horse and other toys but better that than loss of life. I can't remember reading about the fire, did you write about it on here?

Best of luck to them all, and hope you are ok too

Elaine, Jay is my daughter and son-in-law's dog, both Alun and I spoil him to bits, he's so loving and such a softie. There is always a good welcome from him , with lots of fusses. when we go there.lol!!

Yes at least her wedding dress was spared and they decided to have a honeymoon with the kiddies, which they were going to do without. Sallie your little dog is just like my daughters. :-)

Pleased that your grt granddaughter and her mum and dad will be moving back into their home on Saturday. As you said, they have a complete new home to start their married life. Though sorry the pony cannot be replaced. Wishing them all the best for the future.

Hope all is well with you and the rest of your family Elaine. Take care.

Shame about the pony I hope you will find a replacement some day, So glad to hear they are ready to move back in - that was pretty quick and must be a great relief,
If I recall the wedding dress was in for adjustments and wasn't lost in the dreadful fire so I guess it will be full steam ahead now until July.

Wishing them all the best for the future in their newly restored home :-D

My avatar is like the pony I bought my Great Grandaughter when she was about 18 months old. All her toys were lost in a house fire just after Christmas.I really was upset by the loss particularly the horse. However, every cloud has a silver lining, they will move back in to their home this weekend. Her parents marry in July and as I said to them they have a completely new home to begin their married life in, all newly refurbished and decorated but I do wish I could give Summer her horse back. :-)
