In my local town there is a plethora of advertisements for KFC.
Bus shelters, telephone kiosks etc etc are festooned with mouthwateringly tempting images of the fayre available from said fast food outlet.
And in this modern commercial consumer-led society I don't have a problem with that (apart from the rumbling noises emanating from my stomach as I take in the beautifully photographed pictures of sandwiches, wraps and more served up with various culinary delights).
Picture, if you will, images of crisp lettuce and perfectly ripened tomatoes. Images of dishes presented in myriad ways. Images of succulent chicken asking, nay demanding to be eaten and enjoyed.
However, I do have one slight problem.
Having been tempted, hoodwinked, brainwashed even into purchasing one or more delicacies from said chain it suddenly occurred to me.

THERE ISN'T A BLOOMIN' KFC IN THE TOWN YOU NUMBSKULLS!!!!!!

I have never been in a KFC - and I would never eat anything that comes in a bucket :-D. On the day a branch opened here on a small retail park, the traffic was gridlocked for hours - madness!

I treated myself to some KFC the day before I had my teeth out... the one in Hastings is a good one, succulent but cooked chicken in that crisp coating.

:-D

Well anything would be better than KFC despite the mouthwatering photography in the advertisements - if I make it I will let you know but it will probably be towards the end of the year which suits me because it is your summer.

We don't have a KFC, or a McDonalds, a Pizza Hut, or any of the "biggies".

Our local council discourages chain takeaway food stores.

I don't like any of them, but I don't the council deciding what choices I have!!

:-(

Better bring your crutches then Errol,

oh, and a bandage :-D.

I'll supply the Mint Jelly ;-)

We have most of the big name takeaways - sadly....
