his fleece will surely grow back fast
and he will be all woolly at last
Ruby doesn't stand a chance
with me Errol is bound to dance

My fleece has sheltered from the heat
But true, my heart doth burn some
Your comments and your kind regards
Hath turned my face quite crimson

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 12 Apr 2013 18:21

oh Errol it will soon subside
your face will once again be white
your heart is warm, but your feet are cold
stay with me while we both grow old <3

***** Errol I was quite worried you would not find this funny. You really are a good sport....

eRRolSheep Report 12 Apr 2013 18:25

Dear Ann I hear and yes we'll dance
But can I add to that
I get very slightly worried
When I hear the old foxtrot

BarbinSGlos Report 12 Apr 2013 18:28

I wonder if it could be said
That passions are com-ing
For comments stir and thoughts occur
It must be truly spring

Joeva Report 12 Apr 2013 18:59

Oh you silly lonesome ram, it will soon be summer.

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 12 Apr 2013 19:09

Joeva is your clock awry
Or maybe your cal-en-dar
Spring has sprung, the grass has ris
What next on the agenda

Lambs, those baby sheep are always born in spring,
So looks to me you are a bit behind in your fathering !

My fath'ring skills are not amiss
I don't neglect my duties
But having read, this wonderful thread
I'm distracted by you beauties

Tenerife Sun

Tenerife Sun Report 12 Apr 2013 21:33

I leave the thread for an hour or two and now there's talk of mating
I'm getting really quite concerned what road this thread is taking

ChrisofWessex

ChrisofWessex Report 12 Apr 2013 21:56

It is the spring and talk of birds and bees.
Why is Errol on his knees?
He is either too early or too late
Have a rest, you don't need a mate!

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 12 Apr 2013 22:01

on his knees? what are you thinking
his mating talents are up to scratch
he's proved his worth = he has a daughter
he's always done just what he oughta

Mersey

Mersey Report 12 Apr 2013 22:07

Amid lives warmth and strength
his wool so fluffed and smelly
His coat is sheared for the length
and then he quivers like jelly

Sorry its the best I could do :-S

PollyinBrum

PollyinBrum Report 12 Apr 2013 22:28

Erroll with all this talk if spring and lamb
please take care because
before you know, its out you go
and you will be the sauce :-D :-D :-D

Susan10146857

Susan10146857 Report 12 Apr 2013 22:38

Errol's already full of sauce
Look how much he gloats
Careful all you wannabes
You'll not get any fur coats

Rambling

Rambling Report 12 Apr 2013 23:18

I am a Sagittarian
and so I do of course
get along with sheepish Arians
but do not ask for sauce
brown, or red or tartar,
no mint, nor even fennel
chopped fine which is unusual
but kind of rhymes with 'Errol'.
I thought this thread romantic
according to the title
but no! so being pedantic,
I'll have to say night night all.
I was looking out for romance
but that might be too 'deep'
so I'm going to go to bye byes
and count myself some sheep.
