warm.

It was like that here on the south coast until an hour or so ago when the clouds built up.......................now it is cold and drizzling :-(

Sunny morning, now overcast, rain forecast but it is warmer.
As long as the temp doesn't dip too low again I'll be happy - thankful for small mercies me :-D

Beautiful here.

Overcast, cool and two days' solid drizzle. This is after a week of temps back up in the low 30'sC.

Rain forecast for tomorrow (Sunday) but with a temp of 29 :-(

Must be North South divide today as it is cloudy and a bit drizzly here. Not cold though thank goodness.

I think we will get it also Ann as its clouding over as we speak :-(

Emma, the recent cold didn't do me any good at all, never been like that before so I hope we can get cosied in against it next winter.

Island, I think everyone was taken by surprise this year
and how cold it was, even up here was painfully sore with
the wind and cold and lets admit it we don't dress for the
very cold weather. Stay well.

It was quite depressing to read that this year may be what we have to look forward to in the future because of the Artic melting and affecting the jet stream. So maybe we need to think about what sort of clothing we should be buying for future winters.

I must say I found this year that a normal sweater with a fleece top over kept me quite warm even without the heating on all day. But I could do with sorting something to keep my feet warm, even in socks and slippers they have been cold.

Early rain left a grey morning in Glasgow, but the sun is out now.... together with 4 loads of washing!

Your right Ann a rethink is needed, I felt it a lot more this year
also plus am not getting about the same to heat myself up,
loads of us in the same boat I feel. Saying that I hate to be all
wrapped up and can hardly move for clothes :-)
