A Requiem Mass will be held at Arundel Cathedral at 12 noon on Friday 19 April, all are welcome.

For attendance please contact Sue Kennard on 01903 883 400.

This will be followed by a private family service at the Fitzalan Chapel within Arundel Castle.

As a mark of respect, Arundel Castle will be closed to the public on Friday 19 April and will reopen to the public on Saturday 20 April.

A very fine lady who used her advantages for the great benefit of others and in particular the hospice movement. Her husband was a brave man.

She and her husband chose not to live in Arundel Castle because it was "too grand". Her husband did not expect to become the Duke but inherited from his heirless cousin and didn't like the castle much.

Their son, the current Duke, and family moved into Arundel castle after the death of the old Duke.
