OMG My shed roof has just blown off

here in Anglesey the wind is bad,britannia bridge over to the mainland is closed,

all day we have had gales,tonight its bad.

dont want to see the damage to my garden tomorrow. :-(

hope the damage ain't too bad - we have high winds here too

Aren't sheds dreadfully uncouth things?

Mine came with the free erection. I haven't heard the roof blow off though!

ive some sweet chilli sauce in the cupboard ,lovely with Guinea pigs,

if the weather gets worse,we may have to go into the hills to catch our dinner :-D

These guinea pigs can't climb, Sharron, we had roast leg of guinea pig for our weekend meal :-D :-D

had one small power cut already ,
if i dont get back to you then you know that i have been thrown back to the dark ages,could only find one candle,will have to go to bed early,oh how boring :-(

will be dreaming of guinea pig roast with sweet chilli sauce :-D

It's scary here in Flintshire Suzanne, thought I heard thunder a few mins ago as well. The wind is now screaming down the chimney and the lights are flickering :-0

hi all
sorry i couldnt get back to you last night,

power went of at 11.55pm last night and came back on at 10.30am this morning. :-(

my sheds almost gone and half my fence down and broken :-0 :-0

a few trees around here also down but nobody hurt as far as i know.

its still windy here,but nowhere as bad as last night :-(
thinking of putting the washing out,but dont want my knickers blowing into next doors garden :-D

Terrible wind here.
Suzanne I often go to Rhosneigr for windsurfing - is it too blowy for that?
I always then retire to the Oyster Catcher if you know it.

Sorry about your shed roof Suzanne.

I was kept awake by something rattling on the roof, thought it was our TV aerial, but it's still there, and tiles intact.(thankfully)

Extremely windy here too and it scares me!
I mentioned on another thread this week that the storm of Jan 2012, took two brick walls and 4 sections of fence panels ( all about 6ft x 6ft each)
Damage was in excess of £4800

if you went wind surfing in Rhosneiger yesterday you would have been blown to Australia by now :-D
dont think The Oyster catcher is still there,think it was a restaurant wasnt it?

have not seen news yet,but the local radio claimed winds were over 90mph on Anglesey :-)
