Years, many many, ago,I woud see milk churns on the stand outside the pub when I was going to work and just accepted that it was a big delivery of milk for the farm round the back of the pub.

In an odd moment when my brain worked for a split second,it occurred to me that it was actually a big deliery of milk going from the farm and not to it.

If you see the Christmas episode of Gavin and Stacey, one of the characters says 'Isnt it nice that the Shipmans, Wests and Sutcliffes are all sitting around the table together'.

Either Ruth Jones or James Corden has a wicked sense of humour.

I have one of those moments sometimes when the lyrics to a song I have been singing for ages comes up with subtitles, and I realise I have been singing it wrong for years.

It's odd because you see these things around all the time and then suddenly a light goes on over your head and it all makes sense!!

How often do you sit and watch a program and after some time you slap your forehead and go 'doh'

It happened to us last week watching for the umpteenth time a programme about Alien Abductions (Sunday mornings not much on) and they were talking about Betty & Barney Hill and I suddenly said, thats where they got the names for the Flintstone neighbours Betty & Barney Rubble.

Also in Gavin & Stacey, the families are the Shipman's and the West's and the dotty friends also have a murderous surname which I cannot remember off the top of my head. Edit: they were the Sutcliffe's
