Motorist, 64, who screwed up £30 parking ticket and threw it at PCSO is fined £850 for littering.

I agree that he deserved a fine however it does make you wonder about punishments handed out when you watch one of those cops on camera programmes. Some lout spits at police, throws a tantrum and ties up several police for an hour or so then he gets an £80 fine and a cup of tea!
Or someone that drives for the umpteenth time with no insurance or licence who gets a fine of just over a £100 to get his car back and more points on the licence he ain’t got!

Ask the police to try and trace the slime balls that stole 1500 quid’s worth of tools from Mayfields van a few years back and they don't want to know, other than giving you an incident number, overstay by a few minutes somewhere and they will follow you to the grave!

Mayfield - I agree, punishments seem to have no rhyme or reason associated with them :-(
