Anyone had this procedure done? How long does it take to heal? I had 2 scraped two weeks ago, one small one a bit bigger and deeper. The small one has scabbed (sorry) but the larger one still hasn't and as it is under my clothes on my back I have to keep a dressing on it, which sticks when changing it and, of course bleeds a bit so is taking ages to heal. Anything I can do to speed the process. There is no infection, very clean.

There are quite a few non stick sterile coverings that you can buy online,,,,,

amazon do them,,,,,plus tape

perhaps put a larger covering on but leave a air flow space round it,

if it gets to concern you,ask the surgery to inspect it,Ann.or ask advise at a good pharmacy..

Thanks Kay for the advice. It will heal eventually but is in such an annoying spot, just below the waist on my back.
