Thanks, Liz

From Amazon?

Jigsaw by Sybille Bedford (29 Mar 1990)

An autobiographical novel based on Sybille Bedford's highly unusual childhood, moving from a south-German Schloss full of animals and expensive wines to a nonconformist family in the North of England.

Thanks Ann - We heard it on a quiz programme a while ago, and it was the first book of a famous author.

TootyFruity Report 28 Apr 2013 13:41

Never be stuck with books and authors (fiction) ever again.
Search by title or author.
It's great for finding series, or for your favourite author's next release

It is a UK site but, it covers international authors too
