Mau - I remember going to Newcastle Empire as a child, to pantomimes. Sorry to hear it's gone. Hopefully, the Theatre Royal is still there?

ooh I saw him too Ann, also years ago at the Empire Newcastle...a theatre which now is no more :-( saw loads of big stars onstage there :-D
