Sausage Sandwich Day has come and gone,Fred has been out for his lunch twice on the bus,he has been to buy eggs,to get a wheelbarrow load of dung for the garden, out to post a letter, been up the garden a coupe of times to supervise and today his mate is staying at home to have a crack at leading his own life.

Fred will be at home with me all day and I am not going anywhere. He has already been shouting up the stairs demanding washing to do when he has done just about all of it.

I think I will have a go at the kitchen today, wash all the pans because he usualy does them with his one hand and they could do with a bit of sprucing. He can do lots of drying up then. That'll 'ave 'im!

After much protest I had him outside weeding the containers, particularly the one with the blueberry plants in.

He pulled up one of the blueberries by mistake and then worried a lot in case I was going to react as he would.

I can't believe you make an old infirm man do so much work. You should be ashamed of yourself, Sharron.

I am,I am.

I know,I should have let him spend his last six weeks in bed six years ago as was expected of me.

Have had to call the wheelchair engineers out because he has bald tyres now.

I'm sure people think he goes to the cafe for his lunch because I don't feed him properly at home.

There is a pedestrian/cycle pathway near where I live, and I'm sure that some of these scooter riders require crash helmets.......

variations of "laid back" as in Chopper Motorcycles, and leaning over the handle bars as in TT racing.....

I have just nudged this to remind you of how to deal with a hyper-active stroke victim.

That was less than a year ago too.
