At last I felt well enough to go out! So yesterday I took her wedding and engagement rings and sold them (part exchange gave me more) but purchased for my g.daughter a pair of diamond studs in white gold. |

How lovely Chris, I'm sure any daughter would be delighted to receive them. My two daughters in their 30s both have white gold jewellery. |

Kay I have been watching it since beg of year. Best price was about mid March - however weather was not good for me to go out in. |

Thing is Uzzi - daughter switched to white gold some years ago, g.daughter wears silver apart from white gold watch her dad bought for her 21st birthday so if the rings had been left - that is what would have happened - chucked in the back of a drawer and my dau. is so careless - that is why I have bypassed her to g.daughter. |

Chris I really think it´s a fantastic idea. It has given me something to think about as I have my Mums 3 wedding rings and engagements plus my 2 wedding rings and 3 engagement rings. |

My Mam left me quite a number of rings. They include wedding rings from my great grandmother, grandmother and great aunt, as well as her own original one. I wouldn't part with those ones, they are heirlooms. |

If you feel sentimental about inherited jewellry but it is not to your taste and yet you do not wish to sell them, there is another choice. |
