...... husbands do listen to their wives.

This is a story which is perfectly logical to all males:

Milk and eggs ......

A wife asks her husband,

"Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk, and if they have eggs, get 6."

A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk.

The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?"

He replied, "They had eggs."

(I'm sure you're going back to read it again!)

I told OH the story...

Yes so what's the problem? She asked for 6 cartons and got 6,

I've learnt over the years to always question OH when given instructions for anything,
With shopping I insist she writes a shopping list to save any confusion but even that can cause a problem because she cannot understand why I need a list with only two items on the list :-S

I've learned to be explicit when OH goes to the supermarket with a list!

He once looked all over the shop for Romano. He asked a few other customers, and came home with a jar of spaghetti sauce ~ tomato & romano (it was HORRIBLE!).

He was flabbergasted when I told him I wanted cheese!
