Twins....... or triplets

Any in your family tree?

:-)

Two of my Mother's siblings are twins, and my grandmother (mum's mum) had two sisters who are twins. I've found lots of twins on both sides of my tree (most on mum's side), but no-one ~ to my knowledge ~ of my generation had twins.

No triplets on my tree, but a friend of ours had triplets......that was a surprise!

:-)

Yep.....I'm a Twin.

Grt Grandmother had triplets but one died at birth.

My brothers daughter had twins & also my sisters DIL... there are many more twins in the family of cousins,
Mostly on my mothers side of the family.

We have on my mums side. She said that she was a twin but her sibling died at birth - it was probably still born as there is no birth entry.

There are twins in each generation as her grandmother had twin siblings and her mother twin cousins. My cousin on the same side is married to a twin, so her children had better watch out when they are ready to start a family!

Loads of them .
I am married to a twin who was to have been one of triplets but other one died. He has younger twin brother and sister. and his older sister has twins. Loads in the ancestors too. My dad had about 10 lots in his family tree altogether. I miscarried twins and also miscarried one of another set but other baby survived.

I have never come across any registered births of triplets in our family, but there have been twins born in to every generation however no sets of twins survived, 1 or both died ....sad

As far as I can see, my tree is remarkably free from twins and triplets. Only one I know about is my cousin - she had twins, but that came from her husbands side.

Twins on both sides of family a little way back in the past. Hubby is a surviving twin and my daughter has twins. No triplets
