Thanks for reply; I have logged out and in again, refreshed, deleted tree, imported again.... deleted tree, re exported my Gedcom and re imported and then gone round in circles again... :s |

Have you looked at the 'full tree' view? There might be some floating around unattached to anyone else. |

Yes, looking at full tree. When I search for my step dad's mother there are no results; however if I view the tree as a list the whole family is there...... |

Sadly the Gedcom is not a precise tool, and often data is missed out in transferring. |

I just searched for someone who isn't showing on her tree, but is on mine... the box on her tree shows where Great Auntie should be, and her details come up at the expansion panel option on the side, there is no box on tree. |

You'll only see the 'copy' function when you are viewing a tree you've been given access to, not one where you are signed in. The little boxes available to you on someone elses tree are 'details' and 'copy'. |
