It will indeed ............ but you will slowly stop getting those urges.

You just have to learn some distraction techniques!

Thank you gang :-D

No weight gain yet but then I'm still adjusting to no food for 6 days and very little for the last 2 weeks.

I have no doubt though that I will gain some weight because of not smoking and not moving either :-( roll on 12 weeks post op when I may be able to ditch one crutch ;-)

Thank you :-D

I wouldn't have got this far without being trapped in hospital for so long, that's what gave me the head start.

BC, please do not mention BMs, I had enough of those thanks to the hospital acquired infection to last me a lifetime :-P....lolol

Now, now children........if I had put days that might have been a more amusing thread ;-) ;-) ;-)

It hasn't been easy and some days I could absolutely MURDER a ciggie.

It took over 3 weeks before I could drink tea, tasted vile (I don't have sugar in drinks). Food wasn't particularly appealing after the gut infection and my taste buds were playing havoc. Cornflakes were great, toast was strange :-( but I craved scrambled eggs on toast...lolol

It will be interesting to see what I end up disliking altogether.
