Always wanted to go but its a long way from us and when we were both working it wasnt a possiblity.

OH now cant do the walking and I would be reluctant to try and do the drive anyway as he isnt capable of doing the navigation so we miss out . Always enjoy seeing it on TV though.

Have a lovely day and dont get too carried away buying plants :-)

Carol
Have a good day.
We went this evening and it was very crowded and very cold.
Enjoyable though and would you believe I only spent £2.50 on a packet of seeds :-0 :-0 :-0
Take care

What an amazing Christmas present, you must be SO excited. I have always wished to go and join in with the crowds but have never managed it so far... I never say never though..... perhaps next year???

I think the weather was meant to improve, so perhaps you won't have needed to use your pac-a-mac. I hope you have had a wonderful day with your son and didn't spend too much!

I had a lovely time, the flower arrangements & the gardens are an inspiration. The rain did not stop me from having a lovely day out.

It rained most of the day & many people seemed ignorant of the fact that their umbrella's were causing injury to others. :-|

I polished up my old work shoes, so even after walking or standing all day my feet were not sore & my ankles did not swell. There is a lack of covered places to sit, so we ate out packed lunch standing under/in a gap in a hedge :-) I was very tired & thankful for the sit down in the train on our way home.

I took photo's until the camera battery ran out, so have reminders of all I saw. I took several especially for our Dizzi.

I jotted down the names of plants & suppliers so that I can order some. My husband will be kept busy... I want our garden to look less like a football pitch, with all the grass.

Carol pleased you enjoyed it. I've been looking at the gardens online for the plant lists.

We saw the Aussie garden. It was very popular and very interesting. All the designers were there so you could talk to them.

It sounds a wonderful day out in spite of the wet weather. You are sure to remember it for years to come Carol. Been there, done that and worn the pac-a-mac in the rain!!

We have a couple of TV recordings from Chelsea to watch yet. I will be sat with pen and paper handy to jot down plants that take my fancy, they go on my Wish List lol Nice to dream isn't it?
