No - For England and Wales certificates (1837 onwards) they direct you to

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

This is the government 'source' for all BMD issued in those countries and cost £9.25 including P&P even world wide. Payment accepted on the majority of credit or debit cards and converted to your local currency by your card provider.
Any other companies which offer this service have to apply there and add on a profit.
