"We don't need to give away flags for our fans to wave; our supporters are always there with their hearts, and that is all we need. It's the passion of the fans that helps to win matches, not stupid (plastic) flags."

Chelsea 2 - 1 Benfica

even after an extra extra couple of minutes when Chelsea scrambled a clearance off the line. One of greatest individual goals ever from Torres. Power and courage with Ivanovich' winning header.

All against the run of play. Typical Chelsea.
Is Benfica really cursed ?

I watched reactions of Benfica players after match. Had somebody close to them died? I thought it was 22 men kicking a bag of wind round a field - why get so upset :-S

Lady went into her garden centre explaining that nothing would grow in her garden beds. The manager suggested various feeds and fertilisers but she had already bought them on previous visits. Feeling dejected she was leaving when an old chap watering the plants took her aside.

Look he said what you need to do is pop into the pet shop next door they sometimes have animals die and you should ask if they have any hamsters. Cook all of them in their own weight of sugar with an apple and some lemon juice till they are completely dissolved, then spread it on your soil.

So she did as he said and low and behold a week later she went out to find a mass of lovely roses flowering there!

She rushed around to the shop with a big box of chocolates and a bottle of wine for the old man and thanked him gratefully. I was completely overwhelmed and surprised at the lovely roses she said.
The old man looked puzzled and said. So am I,

Wait for it…………..

You usually get…………….. Tulips from hamster jam! ;-)
