Flora - much more classy :-D

Daughter wanted to call her duaghter Poppy - but then Jamie Oliver called his daughter that. She went through many 'floral' names - but was pipped at the post by some celebrity or other. In the end, I said 'Cut out the middle man, how about Flora or Blossom - covers ALL flowers!'

Grand daughter is called Blossom <3 :-D

She was born 11 years ago in April - when the blossom was really thick on the trees - that determined her name :-)

On quite a few occassions, when Blossom was young, I'd be asking her to stay near, (like her mother, she had a tendancy to wander) someone would ask 'What a lovely name, is it a pet name', I'd then raise my voice to Blossom, asking her to come back, and the person would say something like 'I suppose not'. :-(
