Hope you can open the attachment that I've sent out, if not I will have to type verses into email, as I've found they don't c&p very well in that format.....or is it me. :-S

Hi Mau, I received but it didn't come out in the right shape unfortunately, I have noticed this before when i did a 'snake' type poem. it all shifted to the left margin in that case.

Thought that would happen Rose...unfortunately the shape is what makes the verse :-( cannot imagine why you couldn't open attachment...

I have that problem with some things Mau, it may be because I am using an old version of windows, Dan can usually get things up for me if I sign into my email on his PC but he's not here tonight. I'll have a look tomorrow and see if it comes up on his :-)

I was just impressed that they turned out like they did. Should have put it into a drawing doc and had a lamp post and Fanny by Gaslight could have stood underneath .. I am sure Fans wouldn't have minded..

I had no trouble downloading as I have Open Office .. as well as Microsoft..

sometimes if you c&p shaped poems into microsoft word and the c&p them again from there they will keep their shape.....i found that out by accident.

I have been away for the weekend and have lost track a bit. I have not heard from Julie, Erroll, Helen, BC (But I know she has a block at the moment) and Rose (Have I missed yours Rose?)


I think I am right in saying that none of the ones I have had were taken from the suggested list (except mine). So, as you seem not to want a prompt I shall leave you to your own devices this fortnight.

no you've not had mine yet, have only written a short poem so was going to try and do something else as well, but the way things are going it will be just the poem or nothing lol.

Will send out later today and see if I come up with anything in the meantime ;-)

My apologies for late delivery...am definitely going through a sluggish phase, hence the blockage :-D I had better get my skates on soon as have visitors and a short holiday soon. But thanks to all who have contributed as I enjoyed reading <3
