Just wanted to share my news.

My daughter and her husband asked me to share with them the moment their daughter was born. It was such an emotional moment when she came into the world at 8.24pm on Tuesday evening. It was a moment I will never forget.

The proud parents have named her Olivia Edie (Edie was my nan who we lost in January)

Being there when a grandchild is born is so special from the first peek to seeing that little scrap grow will always hold a magic place.I saw my grandchild born -wonderful.

Chrissie it truly is a wonderful experience isn't it. I was at the birth of my youngest daughters first baby and we have a great bond. I unfortunately arrived too late at the hospital for the birth of the second but I am close to her too. I was so lucky and blessed to have been invited to share their joy.

Congratulations to you, your daughter & s.i.l the birth of your g.daughter Olivia Edie. It is a very emotional moment when you are there to watch your g.child being born.I was present at the birth of one of my g.children too, never to be forgotten.
