computer giving problems

Just had my 1st phone call from a withheld number, telling me that a computer company is detecting errors every time I connect to the internet.
You don´t meet many Indians called Michael Jones do you?
Although I suppose it´s not impossible.
What I want to know is, why are they so concerned about my problems? (I.m not aware that I have any ;-)

Especially when you don't have a computer either :-D

This is a long running scam. They are after your bank/card details.

You can do one of two things:

1. Put the phone down without saying anything.

2. Say "Fornicate in the direction of off."

Luckily I knew it was a scam.
Several friends in England have warned me about it, but this is the 1st time I have come across it in Spain.
Oddly enough I had a 2nd "dodgy" call a couple of hours later supposedly from Orange.
Might have been genuine....might not, but as he was gabbling away 20 to the dozen in Spanish I just said I didn´t understand him & put the phone down. I´m not an Orange customer, so wasn´t really interested in what he had to say anyway.
