	Lost luggage has finally been located ( Sunday) and is hopefully on it's way to Toronto. It went awol on Thursday!

Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 8,791 Send Message	The airline "sometimes" takes responsibility in times like this. I've had damaged suitcases replaced, but thankfully never lost any luggage. We missed a connecting flight once, we didn't get on the plane, but our luggage did. A bit scary.

	Keep the reciepts!!! Some of the cost can be claimed on their travel insurance :-)

	Finally arrived at the Hotel in Toronto. With no sleep in the at 24hours, and just 3hours until wedding pick-up time, there is still no sign of any luggage. :-( :-( Luckily, her dress was put in her boyfriend's suit carrier to stop iot creasing...... and he has taken it on all flights as hand luggage> :-D :-D They have just been shopping! They had to buy shoes, bag, underwear, make up and toiletries ;-) ;-)

	I hope her missing luggage arrives in time for the wedding - keeping her sugar levels under control is more important than the missing outfit, easy to say I know.
	Researching: I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

	Dau No1 is on a 2week holiday. 1 week in Chicago and 1 week in Toronto. Her flight from Chicago to Toronto for last night was cancelled and all flights for today are fully booked. Airline put her on a flight to Ottawa with a connecting flight to Toronto. Arrived in Ottawa at 6am but bags didn't arrive with the flight. She is going to Toronto for a wedding ( 14hours from now) and her outfit is in her missing case. Her blood sugar levels are going haywire with the stress! :-( :-( :-(
