I'll keep riding the stationary one...... difficult to fall off :-D As well as being a member of a cycling club, my father was Scottish National champion (road racing) sometime in the 1940s!!! There must be a cycling gene there somewhere....... a (distant) cousin of mine has won a swag of Olympic gold medals for cycling.

	I always wanted a bike, but never got one. My brother was 10½ years older than me He had a bike, and used to go "just for a quick ride, Mum" at lunchtime, but not return until well after he should have been back in school. soooooooooooo ..................... "No daughter of mine is going to do that" :-\| Same reasoning was used when I wanted to go hiking and youth hostelling with friends in mid- to late teens ............. he used to do that, then tell Mum what went on in the Youth Hostels, sooooooooooo ................... "No daughter of mine is going to get up to THOSE tricks" :-( I'd have loved to know what tricks they got up to :-D

Weird thing is, both my parents were members of a cycling club when they were young. I've got a bicycle now...... an exercise one, so when I get tired I just get off lol :-)

	YOU CAN LAUGH AT THIS , I DO NOW ! As a child , my (our ) house had gas-light , but I always wished for an electric train set , HOW I WOULD HAVE PLAYED WITH IT ! I DO NOT KNOW .!

	Oh Merlin it must have been yours I found on the drive christmas morning! I think the ink had run on the label but the M was plain enough!

	Me too never got a bike had a 3 wheeler aged about 4 and one day going really fast I put feet on brake (just as my brother did) and did a sumersault and my parents wouldn't buy me another bike after that even aged 12/14 ...too risky lol! Still can't ride a bike, so you go for it yeh!! :-D

	I just had a catalogue through from microscooters because I bought some accessories for my grandson a while ago. Had a quick glance through and they do adult ones for about £139! I am sooo tempted! Surely 63 is not too old? :-D :-D :-D Not sure how I could chain it up outside the Co-Op though! I asked for one several times but never got it, "oh we will get you a bike later" was the reply (the bike never came either) guess money was tight but I did so want one! What did Santa let you down on? Mayfield
