I got my old portable typewriter out the other day & it had all seized up. OH not interested in mending it & neither am I.
I always used to think I should keep it just in case all the electricity went off one day. :-D

Thank you very much to all who responded. :-)


With the introduction of word-processors, alterations to letters and reports
became so easy.

The first word processing package I used was wordperfect for DOS!

You had to remember what the buttons control and F5 and F6 did.
