We've fallen off the wagon a bit haven't we but it'll be good getting back on ;-) I've had a great weekend in London, food was great and plentiful, weigh in tomorrow, so will see just how much I enjoyed myself :-D Good thing is I've come home and happily back on track. Another hoiliday in two weeks, but that's an active one with spas, so that should move a pound or two, well hopefully :-D

Have a good week everyone :-D

Shelly I also have put on five pound spread over the last five weeks. The lead up to Christmas was food, food, food. Today I have started again to get that off plus two more giving me a half stone target and then I'll take it from ther. I do go out for lunch quite a lot with friends as that seems to be the way here. in England I would meet friends for coffee and a gossip. I have got a Burns Night do to go to but it is a Buffett so I hope I can stick to the diet there and I will dance a lot!

I'm doing the 5-2 diet that has worked for me in the past but I start off for the first two weeks doing 3-4. Three days really cutting back and four days eating normally but sensibly. Watch this space.

Giving up smoking must be really hard. I do hope you can do it. Take all the help you can get to achieve this. <3

The pound I gained at Christmas has gone :-D

Am off for a weekend in London this weekend, a present from our son, food and all sorts included in a smashing hotel, so I won't be dieting much this weekend, BUT the good thing is, there's a lovely pool, sauna and spa there, so the bit I gain with the food, I just might be able to get rid of at the spa :-D

Have a good week everyone :-D

weighed in on Thursday last week and after eating a whole box of Lindt's chocs and a box of Quality Street, plus trifle etc. I had put on one and a half pounds - still below target thank goodness - back to normal Wednesday weigh in this week

Happy new year ladies:) My weigh in day is Wednesday, but seeing as the last 2 Wednesdays have been holidays, weigh in day was Friday, couldn't do the first Friday, so was expecting a rather big gain last Friday, but I had only put on a pound, I am amazed, but extremly chuffed :) although I feel like I have put on 4 or 5 pounds, maybe that's because I have been inactive, and just feel larger, who knows? The weather isn't helping have only been on a couple of walks since Christmas, but I have been cooking for the freezer, so have healthy food ready made. I have two holiday breaks in January, but both include quite a bit of waking, so the meals out, will be walked off...I hope :) We all need to get ourselves into gear, and think of how wonderful we will look by the spring. We can do it :-D

New year - new start :-). I'm four pounds up gained over the last four weeks and I can feel it, the trousers I wore to out to dinner last night were definitely tighter on the waist! Back on track now I need to get that four pounds off quickly before it takes root and multiplies :-(

Well done to Ann and Paula and good luck to everyone else

Tenerife Sun Report 15 Dec 2013 09:25

I gained one last Wednesday and forgot to check in. There seems to be a lot of eating out before Christmas, some just because it's Christmas and some because some people are going back to the UK for Christmas and want to go out before they go. I do decline at times as I can't physically eat so much food and it gets expensive. I am out today for lunch, the whole Christmas works followed by three days of cutting right back. I really don't want to put much weight back on. It has been a real struggle to lose it. If I say this to people when turning down yet another invitation to eat out they think I'm being a bit miserable and keep saying "but it's Christmas" But just how long is the Christmas period?

Good luck everybody with your next weeks dieting/healthy eating.
