we had a stand in class leader tonight as ours is on holiday - she was lovely but went on a bit and in the end I felt myself losing the will to live :-D

Haha! Yep been there before and there is nothing worse! Our consultant is mad as a hatter and our group is lovely too so we do have a giggle and it makes all the difference :-)

Hi Ann and TwinkleStar, fantastic weight losses. I have about a stone left to loose. Its better to keep a steady pace and keep the weight off I think.

Glad you liked Cambridge Lynda. Its only an hours drive from where I live so we pop in on a regular basis. :-D

Well done everyone on your loses.... :-D Went to the docs yesterday and he was very pleased with my weight loss, then was told that I need an op on my arm!! That came as a shock as I was only expecting physio :-S
I have something called impingement syndrome in my arm and shoulder, it come from using crutches at the beginning of the year after the op on my toes!!! It seems never ending and am feeling sorry for myself at the mo, I am losing weight because I need a big op at the end of the year beginning of next and now this one....
Im finding it a struggle eating in this weather but if you don't stick to SW diet I find that you don't lose anything even if you hardly eat...Catch 22 comes to mind......

Weighed myself yesterday instead of this morning. (Saturday mormings are rather hetic, and I am likely to forget).

Have not lost any weight as far as I can see on the scales. (Perhaps I need some digital ones.

From now on I shall "weigh-in" on Friday mornings.

I want to lose at least 2stone by mid November because I want to go rock climbing!

Think you're right about not eating enough on the SW diet Jules, whenever I eat what I should I lose, if not I usually stay the same. I hope the ops go well for you :-)

Tess, good incentive to lose the weight, and it's good to have an aim, gives you more oomph I think :-D

I lost 18ilbs at WW in 2011 and have managed to keep it off. However, we have a young French student staying with us for two weeks. My eating patterns are all over the place and I have gained 4lbs in the last 6 days, I am starting the Squat Challenge again on Monday. :-0

~Lynda~ Report 20 Jul 2013 18:23

It's so easy to put on isn't it Paula :-( I expect you are like me, when you have people staying you just have to make sure they eat well, and then you do too :-D

We've had Polish, French and German students stay, and every night was banquet night, also when we fostered, our fridge and cupboards were fit to bursting :-D

PollyinBrum

PollyinBrum Report 20 Jul 2013 18:37

Yes Lynda I agree it
just seems to creep up. I know what you mean about the amount of food, we are spending a fortune but it all seems to disappear. We have had students over the years, usually older than current one who is fourteen and is stick thin and eats like a horse. OH has just told me he has gained five lbs , but has declined the invitation to join me in the Squat Challenge.

Can I join a bit late.
I called having mother with me my get fit regime. I lost in that first couple of weeks 4kg, the next week I lost 2kg. I am not sure where my fitness regime is going but I want to get the weight off and a place like this is good for me

~Lynda~ Report 20 Jul 2013 19:02

It's weigh in time again this evening but not until 7.30 today and for the next 3 weeks...Im starting to find it expensive buying the food I need for SW diet....Plus having to pay nearly £5 every week...I may go back to the low saturated fat diet I was doing before I joined SW...I will see what happens tonight :-D

Now back from SW and have lost another 2lbs, that's 1 stone 9 1/2lbs since April and 5 weeks at SW.... :-D :-D
