They came last night heralded by spinning metal flying machines , similar to the spoke part of a modern bike, whizzing through a clear blue sky. Then the tv signal blurred, programmes to be replaced by an alien looking doo wop group in 50s suits. My friend said it's only a joke, just a costume. I asked him about the flying machines..."just remote controlled toys" he said but that big? Surely not. Then the TV went off.

"What time is it " I asked "you agree it is daytime?" , "Yes of course" he said and that's when I dragged him to the window and we looked out into the night skies, in which the planets were clearly visible. The aliens didn't seem to bad at first , life was normal, until the little orange coloured balloon balls were sent out, they were only small mayby 8 inches in diameter. But they came in hoardes, and as they touched people the people were absorbed. I ran to catch my child away. Friends were there, my mum tried to contact my brother on the phone, there was no connection. On the trams, people were fearful, unless they had positions of authority in the new regime.

By a small puddle there was a worm, it spoke loudly deep voice booming across the street, saying that all those who were not wanted by the new 'regime' would be destroyed. The worm fell into the puddle,where it turned into a small fish, I picked it up and held it out of the water to kill it.

The hall across the road, had a sign outside "Pumpkin evening", the building behind it was a church, that hadn't been there before. It was relevant but I don't know why...except that the pumpkin sign was similar to the orange balls that killed people.



And THAT, my friends, is what you get when you spend an evening on GR combined with taking pain killers before bed ;-)

My... Rose! But you do have the most complicated, colourful dreams. I presume it was a dream and not an halucination? :-D Wonderful detail. All I remember from last night's dream was I slapped one of my dearest friends and was quite shocked when I remembered!

Those aliens, btw,errr.... I do hope probes were not involved in any way..*frets.... :-D <3

The trouble with internet forums is that we don't really know for sure who is typing some of the posts - could be aliens, humans or a combination of the two.

So can you provide us with any proof that you are the real Rose and not an 8 inch coloured balloon ball that has absorbed her?

Gillian I am the real me, lol, I know this because at the moment I am just too angry to get normal speech out lol. But I may be 'abducting' myself off site very soon...the lunatics have taken over the asylum never mind the aliens! ;-)

Rose :-D :-D That was definitely not the assignment for this time. However it makes a good story. How come you can remember so much of it too, I usually only remember bits.
