Going to Guildford for OH's university reunion. Doing something you might like on Sunday, Errol - a Concorde experience, at that museum in Weybridge. Seem to remember that, like me, you would have liked to fly on Concorde, so I will have to settle for this. :-D

You are absolutely spot on about Concorde.
You will be amazed at how dated the cockpit appears - it looks like something out of a WW2 bomber!
I must admit to being really jealous but hope you have a fantastic time.

Do you, know, it's one place in Britain I've never been - despite spending two years in Manchester! :-D

GiN whereabouts in Manchester, I grew up there through all my school holidays and anytime I could......So many happy happy memories... :-D <3

Actually, I was conceived in Manchester, so my Dad embarrassingly used to say - he was posted in the army Pay Corps there!
I went to Manchester Polytech from 1970 to 1772, and lived in digs and flats around Hooley Range (think that's what it was called !) and other places out towards Stockport, and spent my last year living in Sale. I worked for a short while in Swinton and Pendlebury Library while at college. Moss Side, Longsight, Rusholme , Didsbury - name it, I've been there! :-D

Dad was partly Welsh, Mam had some Irish........ maybe I should change my name to MongrelinNorfolk!
